Group gymnastics is a comprehensive collective performance sport that highly integrates sports, art and technology. Its main components include collective performance, team sports, traditional ethnic culture, artistic decoration (music, props, costumes, as well as background, scene, lighting, etc.), theme design, and the application of AI. It mainly takes the form of gymnastics performance and can incorporate various sports and artistic forms. Among them, the collective movement formation drawing method, collective coordination action weaving method, and collective block movement ensemble method are its three major expression techniques.
